We got the Nasi lemak and also the sambal sotong not seen in the online menu. Also got a bandung. One other way that we saw other customers eat is that they order rice and then the various individual dishes like the fish or lala and share. The sambal sotong that came was a pretty substantial portion and also tasted good. the sotong was not overcooked and blended with the sauce. The sauce went very well with the rice which we had a refill of. The nasi lemak coconut rice was fragrant and the chicken leg was nicely fried. The sambal was a good match with the ikan bilis, peanut and rice.
The whole package of the nasi lemak was a very good combination. Coconut Club definitely isn't just famous for their Nasi Lemak but also their chendol so we also ordered one bowl of it.
Overall, it is a nice place to eat at and everything is good and doesn't disappoint. But for it's price point, I think a WOW factor would still be needed. But for foreigners who would like to have good nasi lemak can give this a try.
